Grace Perry
Artist, Grayce Perry, is ever-evolving as she explores various media and techniques. After winning several awards for sculpture, Grayce became fascinated with the response of oil and charcoal on mylar. Her paintings are intuitive and the imagery in her abstracts is always playful, energetic and ambiguous, often encouraging the viewer to find their own insights into the work. Grayce’s goal is to capture some familiar essence of a common human experience, emotion or place.Following her inner muse, Grayce has recently continued to work intuitively and has been delighted to welcome the female form back into her work. The pieces in her recent series "These Women I Know" and "The Zodiac" continue to evolve and often become personalized as clients request unique character traits to be incorporated into the imagery. Most recently animals have found their way into the work, both beloved pets and animal totems. Grayce is most intrigued to see how these animals continue to find their place in her work!
