This piece has been hand carved using a free hand technique that allows the carver to have more control over the shape and achieve a tactile finish. Each piece has its own unique wood grain. Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving alive. Material: African blackwood Although the wood is called African blackwood, it can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it. Care: hand wash in lukewarm water and dry immediately. Not dishwasher safe. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood. As with all handmade items, slight variations in shape, design and colour may occur.
